The (REVISED) Puppetmaster's Regime
Have you ever heard of the musical "The Puppetmaster's Regime"? Most likely, you haven't. In fact, most die-hard theatre lovers are often unfamiliar with this little production. It was a 1934 stage musical written by anonymous authors of the music, lyrics, and book. It starred upcoming performers such as Timmy "cutie-pie" Wright, Sally Wilkes, Henry Gregory, as well as many others. At the time, it was the most expensive show to that date. It was said to be the biggest, most spectacular stage show to San Francisco and back.
From the testament of Tyler Warwick (1901-1983)
"I went to see the show about a week after I turned thirty-three. The ticket was a gift from my sister, who knew how much I loved the theatre. I remember the signs, they were huge and rather gaudy. I also remember the playbill--it was just a single red dot with a doll-like face on it. It seemed a bit melancholy for what I assumed was to be a musical-comedy, but I didn’t pay much attention. I was goi

Santa: Interesting deduction. Interesting gossip: Hagen said I tempted you with gifts me had no intention of bestowing you with.I don't have any reason to sicken you.
You: Oh?
Santa: Yeah.

Santa: I am as sure as I can be.
You: I suddenly forgot the topic.
Santa: Interesting gossip: Hagen said suddenly forgot the topic.
You: How much gossip do you have, Santabot?
Santa: Pearly said I leave him with questions unanswered because I do not know what he is really talking about. That and a lot more.

The Unknown Whereabouts of Mitchell McCartney
In 1961, Mitchell Francis McCartney would have been thirteen years old. He lived in the small community of Blooming Grove, Texas along with his parents; Carrie and George McCartney. Mitchell’s older brother; Aaron, lived several miles away in the town of Corsicana, Texas.
In the summer of 1961, George McCartney (who had always dreamed of owning a farm) moved his family out of Blooming Grove and into a large farmhouse approximately six miles away from Mitchell’s hometown. The house itself was a two-story home with a wrap-around porch, located at the center of the field.
The house itself was described  as being “Very narrow and tall, with long, broad windows lining the walls.”
The McCartney family had settled into the house for only a month when the first call was placed into the Blooming Grove Police Department.
The call was placed at exactly 6:37pm on May 13, 1961.
The call was answered by Mr. Timothy West.
The caller was identified as being the young Mitch

Cleverbot: What's wrong with that?
User: Okay, I'm assuming by the fact that I'm not as stabbed as I'd assumed I'd be by now...that we're cool?
Cleverbot: Really? You're a human? Yes, I'm a human too. *smiles at you*.
User: I don't like you smiling with those scissors, Clev.
Cleverbot: *runs away*.
User: I'm calling the police.

CREEPYPASTA: THE MOVIE (Plot Synopsis)
In a house only a short drive from the town of Ashley, five teenage friends: Trisha “Trish”, Carrie, Andy, Macy, and Luke read each other various Creepypasta. Trish’s parents will be leaving them alone, as they’re going out in an attempt to better their relationship. Trish mentions a secret cubby hole she used to always hide in, and the kids watch a news report stating that two convicted rapists were arrested two counties over. While Trish performs a reading of the ritual pasta “The Holder of Deception”, Carrie decides to go to the bathroom in the basement. The power shuts off. While watching Marble Hornets videos, they all fall asleep.
Trish awakens to hear someone upstairs. When she accesses the media room, she sees a naked smiling monster (The Rake). The creature chases her downstairs, where she uses her father’s gun to shoot it. The Rake, wounded, flees the house. The four gather themselves, just before a strange burst of light comes from o

It's Always Behind Me
Have you ever had that feeling that something is right behind you? I do; in fact, I have it all the time. I know I'm probably just paranoid, but I'm always carrying this little knot in my stomach, because I always have this strange feeling that I'm being watched. I guess I'm just one of those people. But I embrace my weirdness. I might be a little paranoid, but not all that much. Just a little bit more than everyone else.
I know it sounds weird, but sometimes, when my parents are out of the house and I'm left all alone…I hear…noises. It's not anything over-the-top or anything, usually just a simple sound. And always a sound that is very hard to describe. Sometimes it's just a faint knocking of some wood against something else, something metallic maybe. Sometimes it's just scampering or something ripping…but I always hear it either above me or behind me.
But I'm not some paranoid freak. I know it's probably either the old house we live in, or the mice that always get into

Okay, so, in case you weren't aware, I wrote the creepypasta "The Puppetmaster's Regime". However, for a while now I've been a bit unsatisfied with the product I published, and I've been wanting to do some full-scale revision for a while now.

The problem is that it's already pretty well-established, and MrCreepypasta's already read it. Is it too late to actually revise without anyone calling me out for it?

so fuckin... hey this might end up a little long winded but im just gonna go for it

the puppetmaster's regime was a genuinely life-changing expierence, i've never read a piece online or in print that understood child sexual abuse and trauma as well as the narrative of this story did and presented it in a believable, RELATABLE (for CSA survivors) light as well as you did.

it was some wild shit dude like the entire thing was a RIDE and it was incredible. its so important to my close friends and i, we've all read it and it was practically a healing experience for all of us because fuck like, you as a writer GET it. so few writers actually do and know how to tie these themes in to cool metaphor and aesthetic stuff in their stories, but every word felt almost familiar in the sense that we know what these kids went through and we know the mindsets behind each of the abusers in the story like the backs of our hands, we've seen bits and pieces of 'em all out there.

we sit around and theorize all kinds of shit like actual literary analysis on your work aghfhdjrjgdjjh i hope that doesn't seem weird... it's a very important work to us it's definitely somehow that inspired ME as a writer and a survivor to keep going with my own work, that stories like these are worth telling, etc

tl;dr honestly dude?? thank you

HELLO! I am so sorry this reply is coming at you like six months(!?) after the fact, but here it goes!

I appreciate your words so much, and they really do mean a lot to me. I've read comments from quite a few people about their positive reactions to the story's themes, but you're probably the first to tell me directly, haha. If I can be very honest I've always worried about this story because I didn't want to treat the themes flippantly or offensively, but most people seem to feel good about that aspect. I even made big huge plans to massively overhaul the entire story before, but I lost some files and all I have now is the revised Part One. Maybe someday, but ugh lol.

Enough about me, though. It's incredibly humbling to hear that you responded so well and that my words could have any sort of positive effect on you as well as your writing. I really do hope you continue to write and tell stories, and I wish you all the luck in the dang world because it's sooo hard, but totally worth it when you see that word count go up.

Again, totally super sorry for the late reply

It's been pushed back a bit, but I'll definetly return to it eventually. First I have to finish the musical version of Amnesia that was never revealed to the public, but even THAT'S been pushed back.

After my current project, my partner and I will most likely return to the Amnesia musicals.
